I'm kind of jacked up from caffeine right now. I had to come into work at five am today because there are a lot of stupid people who do stupid things that I get to fix, but whatever, not the point of this post.

dude. There is so much win in my life right now, I don't even know how to deal with it all. Most of it has to do with La Murney, but I think it's spilling over to non-theatre stuff. Work finally hired a third person so instead of two of us doing the work of five, we have three! yayz.

My boss just bought me a caramel macchiato from Starbucks. He keeps on being FTW like there's no tomorrow.

My RL friends finally realized that I won't shut up about Julia Murney and are willing want to come to Sac with me. FOURTH. ROW. SEATS. MOFOS.

LJ friends rock. for serious. like a hurricane.

Television is back. BSG, 30 Rock, Office, HIMYM, SVU. So much awesome, so little time.

[livejournal.com profile] obliviate's birthday is today/tomorrow. silly timezones. [livejournal.com profile] joran's was yesterday. people being born = win.

dudes. spam me with the awesome that is your life. :D

There are days when I realize that I'm an actual grownup and I think to myself, "holy shit. When did this happen?"

Like today, I got home from work, and spent about an hour paying various bills and doing my taxes.

A) I'm not only a grownup, but apparently, I'm a responsible grownup, and B) I'm boring as hell.

Then I went and ate ice cream for dinner and read fanfic while waiting for a coughdownloadcough to finish.

I felt better...

new laws in california make me laugh.

starting, well, now.

• Senate Bill 362 – Makes it illegal to compel someone to have a microchip or other identification device implanted under the skin.

suck on that, big brother!

I started watching Veronica Mars (which, I know, like five years late to the party) because everyone keeps reccing it to me and I gotta say that it's pretty amazing.

I think I resisted for so long because the constant comparison to Buffy irked my Joss-Whedon-Is-God bubble, but now that I've worn out my Buffy dvds matured, I'm glad that I gave it a chance. It's like the perfect mix of Buffy's witty banter and Alias' ability to have season long story arcs without it getting boring (Lost, I'm looking at you) wrapped in a cute little Kristen Bell-shaped package.

God, I love kickass blonde chicks...

Also, amazon is selling seasons one and two for $14.99 each. Which makes me happy because it's over the free shipping minimum. ::does a little dance::

In other nerdy news, I recently found out that Brian K. Vaughan, the author of the Faith arc in the season eight comics wrote his own graphic novel series called Y: The Last Man. It's about a plague that wipes out every male primate on the face of the Earth except for one dude and his monkey. And yes, it is as amazing as it sounds. Plus there are lesbians. yay!

Weezer's My Name is Jonas on Guitar Hero III is even more amazing than I ever imagined.

all that fifteen-year-old emo!pain I've repressed finally has an outlet.

Four songs and an encore until I pwn the game on Medium. It's really too bad my wrist stopped working an hour ago. And laundry and vacuuming the apartment just got relegated to the bottom of the to-do list. Again.

so I was talking to a coworker about last night's SVU and how it didn't suck as badly as the first two eps. And my boss overheard and mentioned how much he *loves* the show.

Then we spent the next half hour fangirling Alex Cabot.

I may hate work but at least the people are cool don't suck.

the end.

My 250GB external hard drive came in the mail today. Guess how much I paid for it. Go on, guess.

$75. That's right! A measly 30 cents per GB.

I am going to fill it up with DVD rips of tv gayness. I can't wait!

In other news, I'm watching The Facts of Life on YouTube.

Oh god... Jo/Blair are so. gay.

for. each. other.

yes.
